CREATIVE WRITING – WORKSHOP WITH FÍONA SCARLETT Rhythm and Instinct in Writing

Listening to the rhythm of your work, finding your writing voice and learning to trust your gut. This one-hour workshop will look at the natural rhythm in all writing. It will explore how to lean into your own writing rhythm as well as tuning into your gut instinct. Only you can tell your story.

Fíona Scarlett is from Dublin but now living in Co. Kildare, Ireland, with her husband and two children. Her debut novel, Boys Don’t Cry, was published by Faber & Faber in April 2021 and was an instant Irish Times Bestseller. It was shortlisted for Newcomer of the Year in the Irish Book Awards, and the Kate O’Brien first novel award. It was also selected as NetGalley UK’s Literary Fiction book of the year. She holds an MLitt in creative writing with distinction from the University of Glasgow and is currently a lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Limerick. Her second book, May All Your Skies Be Blue, will be published by Faber & Faber in January 2025. She is currently working on her third novel. Places limited, booking essential
